India is a very populous country, and the competitive exams in India are therefore one of the toughest, more so when at stake is a prestigious job like IAS, IPS, PCS etc. This combined with vast syllabus of such exams means that one has to learn efficient time management for success, specially if one is a working aspirant. Given below are some basic steps which can be followed for effective time management by an aspirant:-
1. Creating a conducive environment, which includes among other things cutting yourself off from distractions.
2. Prioritizing your activities.
3. Division of syllabus into smaller parts which can be doable in smaller time units like 1 day, 1 week, 1 month etc.
4. Sticking to your goals as per the divided syllabus. One can use different techniques like Yoga, Pomodoro etc. for achieving concentration.
